The Promise of Restoration - Dec 15, 2024

Hey Hope Friends,
I am sucker for a good house renovation - especially when I can watch it on TV and it's someone else's time, money, and mess! Friends in Nashville were on one of those shows, and I got to walk through their house before the episode aired - it really was remarkable and beautiful. What hooks me is the potential seen in very run down properties, and then watching it restored to its former glory!

Tomorrow's Advent promise is the Promise of Restoration (You can watch the Promise of Truth and Promise of Compassion on your app, if you missed them). As you come to worship, consider what you would like to see restored. If it's your living room, I've got a guy for that. However, if it's your life, or family, or our world -- that's a little harder.
Restoration is one of the promises of Christmas, so let's consider what that means. Our goal for our Advent worship experiences is that they are not another to-do on the Christmas list.
