Something Bigger Than Us November 8, 2025

Dear Friends,
One way to respond to all that is happening in our personal lives and country is to be aware of the bigger world. Even our congregation is part of a bigger picture - we are connected to over 40,000 United Methodist congregations worldwide. That represents 10 million+ people! One leadership body of these 10 million people is a 64 person (49 voting and 15 non-voting members) committee nominated and elected to a worldwide Connectional Table. One of those 49 voting members is an active part of our congregation - Anish Hermon!
Recently Anish and his spouse Tricia traveled to the Philippines for an in-person meeting of the Connectional Table. Tomorrow in worship, Sophie our Digital Pastor, is going to interview them about their experience. I know from talking to them, they have a great perspective on how we are all woven together as a global people!
