Rooted in Hope October 4, 2025

Dear Hope Friends,
Our staff team and leadership council chair - Anish, Isaac, Kevin, Mary, Sophie, and I - just returned from Rise, a leadership conference at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. Resurrection is 20,000+ multi-site church in the Kansas City area passionate about providing resources for inclusive and mainline churches open to growing! Hey that's us! Between worship, great conversations and creative approaches to ministry, we all valued the time to refresh our spirits! We all appreciate the chance to step out of our normal routines to do this - thank you!

That's the same purpose of weekly worship. It's a chance to step away from our normal routines, our concerns our lives and our world, to connect in community and focus beyond ourselves. It's time to be reminded we are loved and to show love. it's a chance to pray, experience music, be inspired, receive Communion, and connect with others. It's time to offer hospitality and receive it, too.

Tomorrow we'll start a series called Rooted in Hope. You will learn the spiritual practices we offer through this faith community and how to access them. You'll also hear from other Hope people about how they are engaged here. At the end of this month, we'll invite anyone who would like to join the church.
