In The Loop

Happy Pride Y'all!!!!! Though we planned a weekend of outside activities, the weather planned a weekend rife with rain!! Perhaps, we will see a few rainbows over the next few days!

Let's talk rain plans:

PrideFest in Downtown Bloomington Saturday 4pm to late: The stage will be covered and the show will go on! The Bistro is hosting rain or shine. Hope Church *will * be there! Bring an umbrella and join the fun! Also, plan to eat dinner from Under the Ground or any other local business who has prepared for a crowd! May we live into our motto (Find Hope, Be Hope) even amidst the rain and thunder!

Sunday Morning Online at 10am: No rain plan needed! Cozy up on your couch and listen as Cara and Jennie share their understanding of the Stonewall Riots! There will be a special appearance by Ms. Penny Cost AND new music from our Hope Band!

Sunday Morning Concert at 11am: If it's nice (cross your fingers), we'll be outside. If it's raining, we'll move inside! No matter what, bring your lawn chair! We have set up our sanctuary (which is still under a bit of construction) to feel like a concert in the park without pews or rows of chairs. Rather than lunch following worship, we'll have appetizers and pizza out during the concert! Plus, you'll get to meet Nander, be present for two baptisms, and enjoy the music of My Anchor Holds a.k.a. Katie and Jacob Eckeberger

See you this weekend!
